This was a collection of the earliest THRILL SEEKER COMICS™ work by writer/artist Scott McCullar collected the original stories published in SHOOTING STAR COMICS ANTHOLOGY™ #1-6 and FANZING PRSENTS: JOB WANTED #1 as well as unpublished and other material reprinted for the first time in color. Included commentary and interviews with Erik Burnham as well as pin-up art from a variety of guest artists.

From my personal stash in storage for nearly 20 years…
One of the best anthology series around was SHOOTING STAR COMICS ANTHOLOGY that was published from 2002-2006. These were all printed in black and white as that was all we could afford with printing costs at the time. This is where THRILL SEEKER COMICS™ debuted as a regular feature in each and every issue. All of these issues are hard-to-find and out-of-print where you’ll have to normally dig through back issue bins or look for overpriced copies on online stores, but if you are missing something in particular and are searching for one of these original issues, just let me know what exactly you want and I might have what you’re looking for… still sealed away in an old storage box somewhere here at home.
Some of the artwork is crude in these original black and white issues, so beware. In the more recently released THRILL SEEKER COMICS ANTHOLOGY™, for the reprints of the older original stories, I’ve gone back and re-drawn over some of my weaker art from back then that you will see in these original issues in order to improve and match the quality of my more recent artwork in the all-new stories as well as colorize them and perhaps do a rewrite or two.
Don’t worry, all of the THRILL SEEKER COMICS stories from these original issues will all be re-released in some updated improved form and spread out in the first five issues of THRILL SEEKER COMICS ANTHOLOGY™ with remastered art in color and will be better quality.
